this is the only connection that me and wesley have together... lol. that's why we made it in the first place, isn't it? it was actually lyk. a spur of the moment kinda thing..
i like it that not many people kno bout this site. kinda.. lets me say what i want and it's a little more private. ;] maybe i should just write here. who knows... maybe i will.
so i'm gonna give you a detailed description about my time here in kazakhstan. its reaallly... beautiful. when you take a look at the mountains... it just. takes your breathe away. so much different from what i expected, really. i, along with alot of other ppl, thought it was gonna be some poverty-stricken place.. and although it kindof is, the place where i'm staying is above.. middle class.
the pastor and his family lives in the church, yes. but dude. the whole third floor is their house. the church has over 5,000 members, and they treat the pastor and their family like royalty. and since i'm with them... tehe. they're so nice. they have three maids that clean up the house, babysit the baby [isaac is three.], and make us breakfast, lunch, and dinner when we don't go out to eat [and they eat out kinda often.]
*sigh* am i getting spoiled? lolll. but i'm working ttwice as hard as ever. I can already read in Russian, I just have to have more practice, and memorize the vocabulary.. and i've yet to learn Russian grammar. they accepted me immediately like one of their family members.. i feel so welcome. the way i dress is different from them, but i'm not gonna get drawn in to russian fashion. noooo no no.
but anyways.. everyone here lives for God. they have such a passion that I haven't seen in a long time, and these kids wake up every morning to go pray. O______o
i hope i can measure up.. i just. dont. at least.... not yet.
i'll give you more info later. i seriously wrote too much. i hope you're doin well in iraq. O_O
be SAFE.
-Sarah.
